Honestly, and I have no "sources" or any other information, I think it'll be Smart. I just can't see Gruden going anywhere but an NFL team. There are going to be plenty of NFL openings next year. If the Grudens wanted to be in Knoxville that bad they could be living there right now. Instead they're making their home in Tampa. His current job doesn't require that they live in Tampa and they can come to Tennessee anytime they please. Don't get me wrong I'd LOVE to have Gruden, but I just don't see it happening.

David Cutcliffe... After several others say no. Will feel disappointing, but he'll be so much better than this clown.

Someone devastating. It will be someone we suggest for the Kentucky or, say, Colorado opening. Someone we think would be great for some crappy school but isn't good enough for us. Like Sonny Dykes or Willie Taggart or Coach Cut or, God forbid, Kirby Smart.

I'm not sure who will be UT's Coach in 2013, but with the current financial situation I feel it will come down to $
as in any other business and UT Football is a business. It always comes down to Money.....the old addage: Follow The Money couldn't be more true I'm afraid....it will definately take outside booster help if we make a big name HC hire.....I'm just hoping the wealthy boosters have had enough of this charade...it's definately embarrassing to see what we all love go to he** in a hand basket....we all want to be proud of UT football once again
Go Vols VFL

After Gruden, if no other ex-NFL Head Coach is available, I would look to guys like Charlie Strong or Malzahn.

I like to look at Head Coaches who have succeeded as Head Coach, and Coordinators. These guys were coordinators at schools that won National Titles, then dropped off after they left. That usually means that the Head Coach was getting the credit, when it was really the coordinators who were a big part of the reason for the success, not the head coach (yes, I know the head coach was at least smart enough to hire them.).

Say what you will about Mark Richt, but he has won a lot of games at Ga (114-39), after being a successful coordinator at Florida State. Since he left, FSU dropped off as well.

If I had to chose, I guess I would choose a former DC over the OC. I'll go with Charlie Strong.

My gut tells me not Pete Carroll, Bobby Petrino or Jon Gruden, and hopefully not Dooley either. Hope for Strong or BSU's coach (it is time to jump). Also I don't mind Malzahn.

I'm hoping for a coaching change. This program needs new life.

I won't be shocked if nothing changes next year though.

I just want to win again.
