i would rather have gruden bring in a super staff.

But who knows about that.

when you look at our team and our coaching staff the obvious problem is defense and special teams. we need to:

1. Fire Dooley, he will never out coach anyone.

2. Don't fire Chaney. He has done wonders with this offense and we have put up alot of points on good sec defenses this year.
2B. keep all the Offensive coachs the same. I see improvement every on that side of the ball expect for TEs

3. hire a defensive minded coach. I would rather have an ok offense and amazing Defense. We have the worst defense in our existance.
4. demote sal to LB coach. idk if you could do this with out things becoming really wierd. But it would save you some money and he is a good coach
5. clean house on the defensive side. Its obvious why
6.hire a proven coach. You know what. i say we hire VT's coach he has had alot of good seasons there.
And they have always had good special teams.

No Strong..he will be the same as Dooley!!!!!!!!!

You smoking crack man strong is light years different than dooley a lot of you guys said that about Sullivan and look at Tamu now. This guy has experience as a coordinator on national championship teams not a te coach. He has also had 3 winning season no loosing.seasons

Patterson showed a large pair of footBALLS when he went for and got the win at WVU. IMO he is best situated to leave his current job and go to SEC.

So you say keep the O in tack and act like Dooley had nothing to do with that??? Chaney has been at UT as OC over 3 seasons. Yrs ago everyone wanted him gone. Heck this past summer people thought he should of been gone. When a HC has to rebuild a team from the ground up like CDD has its never going to look good at first. Now in his 3rd season we are talking about how great his O is and there is so much hatred and immaturity out there that people don't give Dooley any credit. I reckon he had nothing to do with the planning of our current O.

I say throw the checkbook at Bob Stoops and make him say no and if he does Tubberville has proven he can compete in the SEC.

I still think the longer this drags out the better Petrino will look to the fan base.

Chaney has a record of building good offenses and Qbs. Another thing Chaney has proven he can adapt his play calling to fit an SEC game. Dooley hasn't shown to be a good leader. Yeah offense is good defense, special teams, and recruiting all leave a lot to be desired. If a HC can only lead and be invoked with offense, defense, or special teams he needs to be a coordinator and not a head coach

Ok...so sticking with Chaney when everyone wanted him fired isn't the job of a HC and shows no leadership abilities on cdd's part....got it!!:ermm::unsure:

Ok he made 1 good decision out of how many decisions and most of that because he had experience so much turnover. Also don't get ahead of yourself Chaney didn't start call good games until the GA game and the Alabama game was horribly called also. And Suneri was his hire too is that showing good leadership qualities?

He will never leave VT. Had too many chances already and turned them down.

Strong would be a major upgrade over Dooley. But I don't see UT going in that direction nor do I see them going after Gruden. He just signed a 5 year contract last year with ESPN. Sean Payton would be a nice hire, but Jerry Jones has deeper pockets than Haslem.
