Again, why did we not call timeout for a play?!

Vandy wasn't gonna switch out their players. That guy already fouled out.

We should've set a play for McRae.

Cuonzo baffles me with the way he manages the game sometimes.

We got a look and he was hacked.
Fact is nobody knew what to do anyway and we shouldn't have been in that position. Same story, different game. Good to see Moore sit while we need energy and effort too. Brilliance from CM.

Calling a TO doesn't likely net us a better look than we got anyway, and we never should have been in a position to have to need a basket to tie with 15 seconds left against a team with so little depth. Inexcusable.

Did we not get about as good of a look as you could ask for?

No, that possession decided the game. With the game on the line, I want to make sure that the ball is in my best player/scorer's hands, not in the hands of my fourth best guy who is more known for his defense.

99% of all coaches would make sure their best guy has the rock in that situation.

I get what you're saying but our 4th best guy was pretty good on offense last night. Got a straight drive to the bucket for an open layup and was hacked.

I was at the game last night and Josh Richardson wasn't hacked, he was mugged! I don't understand how any ref cannot call that a foul? He beat his guy and the Vanderbilt player had to foul him because he was going to lay it in. Clounzo the Clown should have been fired at the bus getting beat by a team that has 7 scholarship players.

I cant wait til the new coach arrives

Not me!

I anticipate another new coach search that lasts for three weeks and with us getting the last candidate on Hart's list.

the new coach won't be able to do much anyway. McRae, Maymon & Stokes will be gone and the roster depleated. You can't win much with next years roster.

And you don't think stallings would've defended for that, cmon.

We got a point blank look, that's as good as you can ask for. And fwiw, Josh had been very good offensively the entire game.

For the same reason we didn't call a timeout at the end of the A&M game: Cuonzo.

I actually have no problem with not calling a time out there. I feel that we had some momentum and actually got a good look going to the hoop. I'd rather Vandy didn't have a chance to set up their defense for that possession.

I did, however, have an issue with Zo not calling a time out when we were down 3 with 2 minutes to go. That was a huge possession. Especially when we were struggling early in the shot clock to find a look. Of course, we get a bad shot and Vandy gets the rebound. Their coach calls time out and they get a wide open 3 coming out of the time out. Essentially that's the ball game.

I like BTO, but he has dug in so deep with CM, it's hard for him to admit that he was wrong.

I could be wrong but I think he's said multiple times that what Cuonzo is doing is unacceptable.

God, your love for Cuonzo really blinds you, doesn't it?

Wtf?

What does my "love" for Cuonzo have to do with my post?

If you'd get your head out of your a$$ you'd actually realize if anything my post is critical of Cuonzo, not complimentary.

I'm basically saying, do you think given CCMs x&o ability that he could draw up some great play with 5 seconds left that would have resulted in a better look than what we got?

I sure as f*** don't
