Just trying to understand the "we can't fire Zo if we make tourney in any capacity"

still had 17 points.

26 vs Wichita.
23 at Xavier.
21 vs Virginia.
19 at LSU.
26 at Bama.

The only game your argument holds any kind of water is against Florida. The whole team and coaching staff no showed for Florida except for Jarnell. In our 6 biggest games other than the Florida game he's averaging 22 points per game.

He can fill buckets. But it's during trash time.

And a leader that he's supposed to be shouldn't have had to wait on an inept coaching staff to light the proverbial fire under him.

It validates my point that he's turned himself into a 3-point chucker at this point of his career. Try to follow along.

Your point has been he disappears during big games and CA and BTO just schooled you and now you're backtracking. Can't even keep up with your own argument.

He's shot 29 more 2 pointers this year than 3 pointers. He's shooting 40% from 3 and 44% from the field overall. How does that make him a 3 point chucker?

Just schooled me? How old are you? 12?

The guy disappears during big games sans a few. But what do I know? He'll be an all-star in the league because the RPI says so.

During trash time?? What does that even mean? Are you implying he's only scoring when we are up big? I can recall several times this year that he's shot us back into games or been the catalyst of a run that put us ahead.

Trash time is self-explanatory, or no?

A player averaging 19 a game isn't only a 3 point chucker. You have 3 point percentages to prove it.

So you might want to follow along.

3-10 at Vandy when we had a decisive advantage elsewhere.

1-6 at UF.
3-12 against NCST.
1-8 against UTEP.
1-6 against A&M.
1-7 at UK.

He's had some games where he lit it up. He's streaky. Yet at this point he doesn't have anything to fall back on when the 3s aren't dropping.

But luckily the NBA loves streaky shooters that can't defend their shadow.

I thought he wasn't going to the NBA? That's what you said.

He is still averaging 19 points a game. He is an excellent slasher and finisher at the rim. Not sure what makes you think he has nothing to fall back on.

Is he streaky? yes. Let's not play like the only thing he can do is shoot 3s. Of all the people to criticize on this team, Jordan McRae is not one of them.

And if we do, lets do it for a valid reason. Like falling asleep defensively, or making a lazy pass.

You read sarcasm about as well as you judge NBA talent.

I don't agree with this, but I don't have a great deal of confidence he can hit a clutch shot when you need it.

Did against A&M last year in one of the OT's. Don't think we have need many this year other than A&M or Vandy. Most of our wins have been blowouts.
