Tennessee's NCAA seed

If Georgia beats KY and plays a close game with FL, we may get trumped. I really think the committee looks at match ups in the big conferences during this time of season.

I think we earned the committee's respect in a loss today, get the benefit of the doubt, and land a 10 seed.

I keep going back to our lack of quality wins outside UVA. I think inevitably, that will lock us into the play in game.

If you go straight off the eye test, we are much better than that. Too bad our resume says otherwise.

So you're saying we are the last team in?

Georgia would have to beat KY and either beat FL or lose by only 5 pts.

If that happens, I think the committee will take Georgia as a play-in team and toss TN out.

I'd rather have LOW expectations with the committee. I'm basing this off what the committee is probably thinking, NOT really what I think.

Glad Ohio St and the little rat lost today -- would love to play those scumbags and knock them out of the dance

On an odd note, the university is not hosting a viewing party for the selection show.

Maybe we shouldn't be so confident.

I disagree. I think they weigh the last 8-10 games heavily and that will help us. I predict a 10-11 seed.

I definitely think the committee considers TN a 11 seed play-in team.

All these brackets are HYPOTHETICAL.

Also, you have to think about like this. If you were on the committee would you'd let someone like Lunardi have the exact same bracket as you? Why have a committee when you have Lunardi?! Instead of a committee just hire a different "bracketologist" each year.

Lunardi can always have the same teams, but most likely the seedings will always be different. TN has been In and Out this play-in game for awhile. What's the point of Selection Sunday without a few surprises?

Please play us

I'd love to play the street ballers. When the going gets tough and the stakes are high, they crumble like a chocolate chip cookie. They can't play in a half court set because Pastner doesn't have a set half court offense.

We hadn't trailed in 200 minutes coming into today and took the #1 team to the wire and we are "limping into the NCAA's". That is not even worthy of responding to it is so foolish.
