If we lose him at least it is to FSU and not a conference rival. We need FSU to beat Florida and Clemson regularly. Those things help us I believe.

The thing that pisses me off is that his high school coach is pushing him anywhere but Tennessee. The same coach that was responsible for the kid being completely unnoticed before Tennessee found him. This kid is as good a WR as anyone in the country IMO and was headed to somewhere like Valdoosta state before we offered him. I just wish the kid would have some damn integrity and man up and tell the staff where he's headed instead of this immature, cutesy BS.

I'm sure he's enjoying the attention and social media games. Recruitments like this are why I don't have a problem with coaches going a different direction and parting ways with recruits no matter how close it is to signing day. No such thing as a "commitment" anymore. Instead it should considered a "reservation". Kids are free to decide on signing day so coaches should be free to do so as well. Kids find themselves without a spot and looking at 3rd and 4th choices and maybe things will change. Yeah.....I know. Not happening.

Agree. It would have been nice if he would have just decommitted. At least the staff would have known to go elsewhere. But, it is what it is.

Not sure. Just thinking we offered because it sounded like we were going to lose him, but maybe FSU got bad news this afternoon that he’s sticking with us. So, Taggart chooses to ride Pruitt's coattails again by offering Tillman.

I think he’s a plan D for different people. We seem to be the scouting service for other teams in that regard.
