Maybe I missed something in the recruiting of Eli but I thought the main reason he decided on Ole Miss was due Coach Cutcliff. I never heard he didn't come to the Vols was because of his brothers success.

Yeah I'm pretty sure Eli would've been a Vol as well if Cutcliffe was still here. Cutcliffe is one of the best QB coaches of all time just by going of the work he did with those two.

I was one of them chanting! I thought at one point we were about to get the whole stadium in on it but then it died down. Anywho, i believe the Berry twins are all VOL!

Omg I'm talking about Peyton(auto correct) not Eli....peyton didn't want to go to ole miss because Archie was a legend there and it would of been massive shoes to fill iirc.

Peyton went where he thought the best QB coach was. He wasn't afraid of living up to Archie. He wanted to be taught, and he wanted to win. Ole Miss had neither of those.

Eli was coming until Cut left. They had seen what Cut did with QB's and they wanted him coached by someone who could prepare him for the league. A friend has a program Eli signed in HS which said "Vol Bound".

Thanks for the correction. I honestly don't keep up with their ratings or profiles much as I just expect them to be Vols. They both could be 1 star player and I would see them the same as a 5 star. They are must gets with their history and CBJ will get it done.

Pronunciation: same as former basketball player, Rony Seikaly. :)

IMO, the Berry brothers bring the psyichallity that that Tennesse fans are used to seeing on defense. makes them very important! for the VN definition of psyichally, see above posts. :)

I almost do not want to check the threads of the Berry brothers because of the abuse :)

Berry = singular

Berrys= Plural, ie more than one person with the last name Berry.

Berry's = Singular Possessive. Ie Eric Berry's twin brothers


The twins may not have signed with Tennessee yet because they have read their threads on VN. The English grammar slaughter in their threads may make it difficult for the UT coaches to convince them that they CAN get a quality education at UT! :)
