I can't believe there's such a thing as Freshman All-American in High School. Seems like scouting might be getting a little out of control. You can't tell me there's enough time to truly evaluate kid that are freshman. What's next, the Junior High All-American third team?

If they started all year as a freshman, you have the same amount of data and film to evaluate as a kid who first started as a junior going into his senior year.

On some blog I read there is a website for Pewee coaches to upload film of other teams to scheme and have kids watch.

Maybe just a little overboard.
