I think Evan is going to make a rather good CB, I really like his athleticism. If he brings the right mindset day in day out, he will push for a starting job.

This is the Berry brother that I can see as a Defensive star, I think of Eliot as more of a special teams ace

Not to mention CB/S speed. I don't think there are too many LBs with Elliot's straight line speed.

I'm not convinced he won't be a safety here, but if he stays at LB he's going to be one ridiculously fast LB.

Just watched Evan and Elliott's film...wow! Those boys are fast!

I still can't believe that we will have TWO Berry's on our team next year. It's like a Vol fan's dream.

"It will be good to sign Wednesday," Berry told InsideTennessee. "I've always wanted to officially say that I'm a Vol and move on ahead."

"I talked to coach Jones about it and he said that he's going to try me on offense and see how it works out," said Berry, who played numerous positions for the Seminoles from running back to quarterback to safety to wide receiver. "At the end of the day, it's his decision so…obviously they're going to give me a chance at what I want —*receiver, running back or a utility guy."

Still hoping he plays corner, which means I'd have to pull for him to NOT do so well on offense, which I can't do. Would love his speed in the secondary tho

I agree I think he could be a real good corner, but I actually think he's well suited for slot WR. Either way he will be an impact player for us, far too talented not to.

Evan Berry has decided to wear #29 to honor Inky Johnson, per Danny Parker!

That's really cool of him to honor Inky. Inky is the definition of VFL. Awesome move by Evan.

And previous poster mentioned Eliot Redshirting possibly because of an injured leg, i cant remember when this happened. And also, what type of leg injury, and the seriousness of this injury?

Has there been any more on what position Elliot will play?

I know linebacker has been stated previously but I'm curious to see if that might change.
