I only saw them play a few games this yr, including the first round game. Hunter is athletic 7’1 ft center that concerns me. I believe he is their lefty big man and averages over 18 points /8 rebounds per game. They have another 6’11 guy that averages about 9-10 points per game.

We have better guards imo and JJJ could be a difference maker playing the four position. We can ill afford to have a poor shooting night and we must stay out of foul trouble to keep Michigan off the foul line.

I personally think Michigan has underachieved as they have a lot more talent than their record shows, imo. But that’s why they play the game!

Their conflicting erratic offense makes this a hard game to predict. Their guards shoot bad one game good one game but their shooting % as a whole is not great putting it mildly. As a team they shoot high% from Free throws so the refs will play into that and one of their best is the 7 footer who has shot the most foul shots on the team. They have not won 2 games in a row in a long time so there's that. One of the reasons I think the committee picked them is that they watched them play when clicking on all cylinders but if they had watched the next game not so much. As I said they have struggled to put 2 good games in a row all year. If our D disrupts them this could be a blowout but if they come out hitting everything it will go down to the wire. Just a hard team to analyze.
