Penn State won the tie breaker with Indiana by beating the highest ranked common opponent-OSU.

“If Ohio State loses, Penn State wins and Indiana defeats 1-10 Purdue at home, then it will come down to a tiebreaker between the 11-1 Nittany Lions and Hoosiers. That tiebreaker focuses on the highest cumulative conference winning percentage of their respective Big Ten opponents, with PSU holding a significant advantage (41.98 win percentage versus 34.57, with Purdue set to lower it further).”

Players are legitimately saying they were pepper sprayed during the brawls. Something really strange happened at the end of the game.

So .... Penn State would be in the championship game if they win regardless of how IU does?

Has Oregon earned the other spot or do they have to win today? If they too lost there would be three teams with identical conference records.

If osu is above us next week in the playoff rankings then the fix is in for the big 10

Yes Penn State is in if they win.

Yes Oregon already secured its spot in the Big 10 Championship Game.

Wow what a mess after the game. Aren't players involved in such activity suspended for a game or is it only if the incident happens while the clock is running?

I agree Michigan probably shouldn't have done that but you don't take a chance on being hurt or suspended in this type of situation.

Thanks I was wondering because if Washington were to beat Oregon and both IU and PSU won, they would all three be 11-1 and 8-1 in conference play and they did not play each other at all.

The Vols are fighting Ohio State for a 5star recruit right now. Let Sanders see what losers the Suckeyes really are.
