My soon to be college aged son wore crocs and shorts out to a Japanese steakhouse when it was 29 degrees outside.Guys love the black so they are going nowhere. I'm willing to bet they would wear them every game until they lost if they could.
I think the 1 was buried behind the AVG sign on the board. I thought I saw “AVG1 .000“.Scoreboard kinks aren’t worked out yet. Lots of guys with hits but batting averages still stuck at .000.
One thing we have lost is the players year in school and hometown. We have another ad on the scoreboard instead.I think the 1 was buried behind the AVG sign on the board. I thought I saw “AVG1 .000“.
There was minimal space between the G and the 1 or I could be completely wrong. Either way, they need to fix the spacing so it clearly reads 1.000.
@taylorvol was right about the 1 blending in. Zoom in, and you’ll see it by the AVG.That's just honoring tradition for early season and mid-week games.

We should be careful how much we let young people chose their own clothes.
Seriously, today's Uniform combo was top-notch. How do they like those?

I’m taking my boys to lunch right now (no school today), it’s 35 out, and they’re rocking the same outfit, short sleaves, shorts, and crocs. One of them does have socks on though.
And I bet they LOVE the black jerseys.![]()
