I would have to agree, for the most part NEW COACH adds nothing but annoying and obnoxious comments.

Barkley, Clausen and Nunes..

look at Clausens hair :birgits_giggle:

Jimmy must not realize he has the Clausen trait yet, called hair loss. I guess he figures if he grows it out it will look like he has more. You can tell he is receding already, but at least he has more than Rick did at that age.

Upland (Calif.) quarterback Josh Nunes, who cut his list to eight schools earlier this week, received his 21st offer earlier this week.

"On Tuesday, Josh received his 21st offer from Washington," said Upland recruiting coordinator Mike Esquivel.
Nunes trimmed his list to include Arizona State, Stanford, BYU, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Tennessee, Florida and Harvard. "Cornell, Notre Dame, and Kansas State are also recruiting Nunes as of late," said Esquivel.

Midfielder, that's the point. He has Harvard on his final cut - but he's a football player. Stanford gives you big conference football, great education, and a former NFL QB as head coach.

They get around it by using academic scholarships. My friend Matt Arent from MLK got an academic scholly but everyone knew it was for football.

Always wondered how that worked out. Not that any of the Ivy League schools are scooping up blue chip prospects routinely enough to raise any red flags, but it is interesting.
