#1 Bama #3 FSU

I hope the FSU QB is ok? If he isn't, I hope FSU has a bigger QB than that bean pole that came in the game. He's physically too thin to play college football. He looks like a basketball player instead of a QB.

Same thing was said about Mariota. He did pretty well.

If you remember Bama's DL Raekwon Davis #99 was shot in the leg last week.

Was it a flesh wound? Wtf.

If he played for us he would be out 2 years, 3 knee surgeries, and a prosthetic leg now.

So like when Nick's time runs out and he's finally done with football?

And even then, I'm sure Bama will pay very well to get the best coach available that will continue to sign 4 and 5 stars like crazy

Bama makes it so unenjoyable to be a fan of college football sometimes. Now I know how women's b-ball fans of other SEC schools felt when Pat was coaching.

Be an interesting situation. Whoever it is will probably be well aware however that regardless of whether they can get as many, the expectations will be set higher than everybody else's. Won't too many if any "ok" with 8 wins post year 1.

Pressure breaks pipes.

It's not like Bama hasnt been doing it that way for a while now. FSU was good for a half and the better team eventually broke them down in different ways.

Naa. Pure implosion from Fisher down to the offense and on to special teams.

Bama finds a way to beat good teams soundly in all three phases.

It was odd to see an FSU team break down on special teams. They usually excel there.

Yeah, it's never happened before.

FSU made mistakes but Bama puts you in more situations to do that than anyone else for 60 mins. Their track record backs that up.

Do you also like to whistle past graveyards? That was a second half domination by Alabama. Francois was being handled after the opening 2 quarters of play. Those interceptions were Bama's way of saying that second half adjustments had been made.

If you beat Bama it's going to be a 4 quarters slugfest and as optimistic as Jimbo and the Seminoles were at halftime, the games intensity changes in the 3rd quarter from Alabama. Jimbo's group couldn't match it. Not many can.

FSU matched up pretty well at the skill positions.

Got beat at the LOS as time went on like most do. Got behind, forced to be one dimensional and lost.

Complicated it is not. Regardless of what color you we were wearing during the game.

There were two distinct halves to that game. In the second half Bama physically and mentally handled FSU. The Bama defense just got better and better as the game went on. FSU crumbled under the pressure in the second half.

As much as everyone wants to stare at all the skilled positions it's usually the trenches that tell the story. The Seminoles were held to 40 yards on 27 rushing attempts for the game. No doubt Francois was feeling added pressure from special team's turnovers and being made one dimensional Francois started forcing things. Drip, drip, drip.

Nice to see you. How many boards have you been to beating your chest?

Their special teams absolutely sucked.

That's all true.

The skill spots matter but I thought Clemson had the advantage there last season and was going to have to match Bama there to have a chance to win. They were able to play even at tje LOS and win at the skill just enough.

Unless Deshaun Watson is walking through those doors it's gonna take a whole lot more of something else to get back. This weekend is game one of the playoffs and frankly until you play worthy competition no one really knows where they stand in the grand scheme.

FSU showed they had one component worthy last nite. The other is not there. At least not now, and the one they have isn't good enough to cover the other.

He obviously tore something in that knee. That bama player didn't need to do that.

He was just trying to make a play. Nothing malicious. This is what happens when you play a scrambling QB in a game that has been decided.
