Well-played defense and all, but for the Game of the Year to be an offensive sludgefest like this is as good of an indicator as any that college basketball's in a down year.

Seems like UK is playing terrible and UL is playing well...problem is UL is still losing. UK has 10 turnovers (and counting) in the first half and still leads.


I think UK opens this one up in the 2nd half.

i dont think this game says anything about college basketball. There's about 12 NBA players out there playing NBA level defense vs not quite NBA ready offense skills.

UK had no free throws, 6 more turnovers, and only 2 blocks, same as UL. Still up at half though.

Did the NCAA change their strict policy on fouls? I remember last year (and this year), that Tennessee was called for putting a hand on the player with the ball. I'm watching a very physical game where it looks like both teams (but especially KY) and fouling every single possession but not getting called unless it's blatant. Am I right?

It's because both of these teams are so physical, they would literally call fouls every trip down the floor. This one is a man's game.

The Harrisons just suck. Ulis and Booker should get the majority of the backcourt minutes.

Andrew especially has stunk it up today. Terrible on the floor and not even doing anything on the bench except have his head down.

edit: Wrong twin lol
