1 loss dont panic

The problem is that many people on here definitely thought Arky was a guaranteed win! With this unexpected loss, the panic is definitely real with looking at the rest of our schedule… ain’t no guaranteed win on there except UTEP and MS State..
But I do think that we’ll regroup and adjust and get better in all facets.. because IF not 🫠😶🤐

This loss truly sucks, but right now everyone in the SEC has at least 1 loss except Texas.

The problem I saw is that, after our 2 TDs, we went too conservative in play calling AGAIN. Our mid-range pass game seems lacking—everything was horizontal or too deep. Not enough involvement of RBs & TEs in the passing game.

I wouldn’t panic about 1 loss if it was to Bama or UGA. But a loss to Arky with 2 weeks to get ready, yea I’m gonna panic. UF is firing on all cylinders and will beat us on Saturday. Vandy and UK have shown they will show up for big games so they are far from sure fire wins. Right now 8-4 seems like a best case scenario.

UF is hardly firing on all cylinders. UT will be a double digit favorite but if the offense continues to suck it will be a game similar to Arky but at least we get Florida at night in Neyland.

The SEC is gonna beat up each other this year. Nico will be fine and just learned some hard lessons that only playing in these games will teach. Our O-line is a weakness and that will have to be worked on. Arkansas also had a couple of former Vols to help with the game plan. They had an amazing game plan for our offense tonight. The Defense bent but did not break until the end of the game. We had a chance to win at the end and I wish Nico would have ran more but we will be ok. There are worse people to lose to than Sam Pittman. He is a pretty likeable guy.

GO VOLS!!!!!!!

I don't give a damn how likeable Sam Pittman is. Sure as hell would like him a lot more if we'd beaten him.

Same thing happened to the Vols as happened with Bama. Rat poison, as Saban called it. You could see it immediately- lack of focus, poor tackling, lack of execution on offense. Nico was part of it but he wasn’t the only one. Turning point for me was the running into the kicker penalty. That prolonged their drive and changed momentum.
Tough loss against a tough team on the road in the SEC. Georgia almost lost to Kentucky, who got blown out by SC, who almost lost to Old Dominion.
That’s the way stuff happens in this conference.
Half the Top 11 lost today. That’s wild.
These guys will regroup and we got 4 straight in Neyland.

I really hope that is what it is…but our OL just isn’t pass protecting or doing much run blocking. Do we need to takeout a TE and play with an extra tackle? Of course that would bring another defender into the box but we just aren’t getting it done on the OL. And that was the case in Oklahoma as well. Nico is a pocket passer and we need to give him a pocket.

Let’s hope it was a combination of rat poison and playing on the road - because we got whipped all night long.

1 loss doesn’t mean panic, but a showing like that against a mid tier SEC team does when we were ranked 4th and could have been #3 or #2 today

Redshirt freshman QB is gonna have some growing pains.....Arkansas is a pretty good football team. Petrino knows how to call offense. They had a great game plan and we better figure out how to attack that scheme cause everyone is gonna use it.

The one loss is another sign of problems with the offense. We blew out NCS, but we were struggling until the 85 yard pick 6. After that play, NCS just gave up and have shown the were way overrated. The offense struggled against Oklahoma and we had to run the running game to run out the clock during the second half. Are you confident the offense will be about to score enough points to cover the point spread against Florida?

Honestly this Florida game scares the crap out of me......this is their opportunity at redeeming the season. We are gonna be in a street fight rivalry game with them as usual.

That was one Vols didn't need to lose, but if they don't figure out a way to score and sustain drives they may lose a few more. Pre snap penalties have become common with the lineman during CJH tenure now. Hope the coaches get it figured out and put the players in the best position to win. GBO 🍊🍊🍊

No reason to panic because 12 team playoffs so 1 loss to a good quality foe isn’t a huge flaw including because Arkansas got the game winning td scored under 2 minutes which is very let’s wait until the final 2 minutes of a tv drama to explain why a visible aspect isn’t a plot hole.

There's not a lot of room for error in a SEC Road Game at night against a competent opponent. Obvious miscues, running into the punter, numerous pre-snap penalties, and "dumb" penalties. First offensive play of the game 15 yard laser for a 1st down, but NOOO! lineman illegally down field. Stupid stuff like that kept us behind the sticks on so many possessions. Bishop at least twice didn't pick up his man on the blitz or stunt and resulted in a sack, same can be said for other players. We had some chances to make some big plays, Squirrel has a couple of steps on the defender, Nico WAAAY overthrows him. Dylan is split out wide right on next to last play of the game and NO one picks him up, get him the ball and its a walk in TD. Instead Nico forces it over the middle. You could go one with Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda, but we just didn't. Mean while Green is dropping dimes to his WR's. At least twice McCoy is right in phase, you really can't play it much better and Green drops the ball in a bucket from 30+ yards. That is easily the best game Arkansas has played all year, didn't turn it over (a first for them), minimum penalties and just great execution in all 3 phases. And finally they just wanted it a little more, their ball carriers always seemed to fall forward for an extra couple of yards and ours were stood up in the hole. Watch it once then burn the tape and get ready for Florida and DO NOT LET THE HAWGS BEAT US TWICE! GBO!

The panic is because this is supposed to be the year.
It's not. QB, Tackles , weak Secondary play, which has been the case for the whole 4 years of the staff is the biggest problem. WR.. They just need to rotate through those guys and see who will produce. Nico doesn't seem to have that safety net guy and why not is the question.

We deserved to lose that game because of what we did to Green. Don’t give me the “he’s just playing hard” BS. The play was either evil or brainless.

It's not? Please explain why next year is going to be "the year"?

Individuals are mad because CJH's offense isn't putting up Video Game numbers.

This is the SEC not playing Kent State or Chattanooga every game. The score predictions for the Arkansas game from some were laughable. I even predicted ridiculously but not as bad as others. No way your scoring 50+ on the road in SEC and yes not even at Vanderbilt.

As Aaron Rodgers says "Just Relax" .
