#1 LSU vs. #14 Georgia (CBS 4:00)

Looking at the last five years of college football, it only makes sense that there are two SEC schools in the BCSCG... heh

How many careers did it end in the many years it was legal?

Just look back to the '04 NFL season and blame Roy Williams. Just as a list of players that were injured that year as a result of a horse collar tackle: TO (broken leg), Donovan McNabb, Musa Smith, and Tyrone Calico.

Add Arky and Alabubba to their schedule and Richt's team would look similar to another SECE team I know.

Indeed....they are a result of their schedule. Best team they beat was Auburn.

38 yards passing for Jefferson and 42 points.

I still think not playing Lee hurts them, they keep making it work but does it work against Bama again? I don't know.

Next year LSU should be much deeper than they are this year, that is what is crazy.  I don't see too many 1st round picks but they might be most depth college football team ever.

What is Miles' obsession with Jefferson?

And how is Mettenberger progressing? Is he starting next year?

Man, y'all are crazy good. And you might be better next year? Sheesh!

The only thing I can think of is that he is mobile and is a threat to run. His passing ability is the pits.

Yeah, I don't know. Lee has had basically about 2 bad plays this year, one INT slipped out of his hand. The two bad plays just happened back to back against Bama.

LSU gets down by 10-14 to bama, no way Jefferson can lead a come back in my opinion.

Mettenberger has been on campus for a year (been on campus since Dec 2010), should be good to go... has a real strong arm. I would imagine he would start the year at #1. LSU has a chance of landing Gunner but he would come as #2 or 3.

Lose the two QBs, which I am glad to see Jefferson go.

We lose a couple on the OL and LBs but we have some good guys coming in.

DL basically everyone back except Adams, who had a good game.

Secondary should be about the same lose Taylor and Brooks, and probably Claiborne early to the draft but should have Loston and Vinson back at full strength.

thumbs down

thumbs down

The DL is just insane.

Lose:
K. Adams

Keep:
E. Ferguson Fr.
B. Mingo So.
L. Maclin So.
A. Johnson Fr.
J. Rasco Fr.
C. Aghayere Jr.
L. Edwards Jr.
M. Brockers So.
B. Logan So.
J. Allen Fr.
S. Montgomery So.
J. Downs Jr.

Gaining:
Q. Thomas RSFr.
M. Johnson Greyshirt

2012 Class:
R. Feist
D. Hunter
wouldn't be surprised by two more high profile recruits

LSU played 11 guys on the DL tonight. Rasco got a sack in the middle of the 4th quarter, he is the 4th string DE not the 3rd string like they said. LSU moved 5-star Davenport to OL because he wasn't good enough. :)

What a game, LSU is flooded with talent. That was an impressive second half that they played.

Back to the drawing board, we have alot of work to do.

Too many horses. I thought UGA came out with a lot of energy and a good strategy. Nothing to hang their heads down on... you should have seen the Ole Miss game, they were mentally defeated within 60 seconds of the start of the game.

The early drops could have really changed the game... UGA should have been up 17-0, forcing Les to go to Lee.
