#1 Notre Dame @ USC

Notre Dame is nasty on the goal line.

Kiffin screwing the pooch with clock management and play calling. That's the ball game.

Play calling was pretty normal. Sprint-rt option/q-8/fades. Good d and horrible execution. 30 secs on sneak is ridiculous. Dools clock skills.

I think Kiffin gets the axe...Monte was already in trouble...rumor is that he needs to let daddy go or risk getting the axe himself. The Trojan's D has cost them all year.

Living in Chicago, I am forced to deal with Notre Dame fans who are convinced that they play a harder schedule than SEC teams. Can't wait for Alabama to win by 4 touchdowns and put that argument to rest.

After hiring Kiffin who only had 1 year of HC experience at the college level, does USC try to steal Jim Mora from across town? 9-3 and playing in the Pac 12 championship his first season at UCLA of all places is pretty impressive. The damage he could do with USC's talent would be something.

Boy the media just literally makes loves to ND huh? It's sickening...get ready for the pain. Hate to say it but Bama will smack them around.

It was possibly the best goal line stand I've ever seen. SC had the ball 1st and goal inside the 2 yard line and ran 7 plays and didn't score. Unreal.

That's a huge overstatement. Notre Dame was helped out TREMENDOUSLY by the coaching malpractice committed by their competition.

This USC team is probably the biggest underperforming team of the year.

Kiffin gets my vote for worst coach of the year. It's like he couldn't wrap his mind around having a chance there. Wow. Awful.

Wouldn't surprise anyone, they have a thing for hiring coaches away from their school after one year

Haden gave Kiffy the dreaded vote of confidence...I think he gets saved if Monte "retires" which I'm sure he would do....I mean come on the guy didn't know what heck even happened when he bolted here he'll step aside if it saves his son's job.

I would if I were USC.

AD's already being them back.

And they seem to really like to hire within family...plus teams don't seem to like to go after a rival coach (referring to UCLA's coach), especially if the coach doesn't first come to them asking about the job
