Herbstreit needed to correct himself because that was a textbook shot by the Oregon safety - left with his shoulder and he hit the receiver in the receiver's chest. If anything, that highlight should be used in films to show players how to hit fiercely yet entirely within the rules.

But the flag for taunting did seem to be correct.
 
Lane usually gets enough points out of his offense to win, but his calls in crucial situations leave a lot to be desired.
 
Watching a team try to milk the clock that runs a play every 20 seconds is humorous.

And oregon's playcards are great.
 
Imo, there's a big difference in taunting a player whom you just beat (aka talking s***) and taunting a player who is still down on the ground cause he's shaken up from a big hit (aka unsportsmanlike conduct)
 
Boo on this conservative field goal crap kelley. Go for it! Next thing you know he'll be saying he has to watch the film and players need to work like heck.
