Who ya got?

I like both teams a lot and for different reasons, so I don’t have a definite favorite in this one. Which outcome would benefit Tennessee most?

It really belongs in the non-Lady Vol thread. I hope you got this approved by Rickter...

Well, I like both teams and both coaches. SC being an SEC team leads me to pull for them. I agree about wanting a win for a team that beat us (Stanford); and yet if SC wins this game and then we get Rae back and get an upset win over SC during SEC play ....

SC will expose Stanford for the slow non athletic team that they are. SC’s defensive pressure will cause Stanford turn the ball over at least 20 times. SC by 20+

I think Stanford will win unless SC suddenly learns how to play the whole game and Boston shows out. From what little I've watched, SC is still learning how to play together. Stanford.....not so much.

The game Aliyah Boston has been waiting 8 months for. Jones will have a hard time being the facilitator and primary scorer. Hopefully, the refs aren't hell bent in making sure both centers foul out like in last weekend's game.

I thought Stanford would be better going into this season, but the loss of Kiana Williams still seems to be haunting them. They've gotten worse, but SC has gotten better. I'm predicting a double digit win for SC, especially if Henderson is able to play for a significant portion of the game. SC 70 Stan 57 is my final score.

I played the great "what if?" game recently in another thread to show how we could have currently been ranked #2 with a win over Stanford and an assist from KY, but it just occurred to me that a Stanford win tonight would then have vaulted us into the number one spot through the end of 2021.

I only point that out because just the idea of that being a realistic possibility would have been unthinkable a couple of months ago, even with a healthy Rae. What a tribute to our team and coaches!

Indeed! It needs it's own thread over on SC and Stanford message boards. If they aren't wearing UT orange then they are both bad guys.

prechtel ashten aak 6 5 red hair girl shoots three good and she has better change of guarding boston than cameron brink. or holding boston points down for a stanford win. if refs call even game like stanford changes. refs seem to like unconn and south caroline and few more teams. south caroline lost back point so maybe stanford new point guard will not hurt them to much.

I think Stanford will win not because they beat us, because S.C is tired. Dawn scheduled too many top teams which may get them tired before championship time.

Have to go with SC. Another road game for Stanford (Did they stay local or go back to California after Saturday's game with us ?) will be asking a lot.

I like SC a lot. I think they are easily the #1 team. I think the battle for #2 is wide open among 5 to 8 teams. A lot of parity this year IMO.

Stanford’s hitting their three’s to start off. If they can keep SC off the boards, they’ll have a chance.

They’re playing very well the last couple weeks. Doing the same thing to SC they did to us. Great defense and taking away their best several options.

Cooke is getting all those looks for a reason. Tara is going to let her shoot until her arm falls off 😉

On the other end they’re just playing really smart offensive basketball. Taking advantage of mismatches, driving the middle of the lane, getting great looks inside out. Textbook.
