UGA, much like Bama, gets every team's best shot. It just goes with the territory. They found a way to win on the road, and that's what good teams do.
They had a good fall camp and came through it mostly intact with no losses to key contributors. Early season success probably made them a little lackadaisical. Dont know what issues you could be referring to. I've not heard anything. There's no QB controversy. Doesnt really appear to be any primadonas on this team at all. As Kirby said, this team hasn't accomplished and isn't defending anything. The main thing I see is the Oline doesnt look very good at the moment. You can mask a lot of ills with good Oline play. The last two games showed some deficiencies in the wide receiver group and the RBs. The story going into the season is that the offense will have to carry this team because the defense will be replacing so much talent. In fact, the team looks very much like last years team at this point in the season. You might not remember, but last season, UGA was clinging to a 3-0 lead going into halftime vs UF at the end of October, but got a spark from the defense and scored 21 points in two minutes. Seems to be the moment that team came together. Dont write off the Dawgs just yet. It's a long season and a lot of twists and turns remain.Being serious though, Georgia is the defending NCs and know how hard it was to get that. Unless they don't really care if they get another, I can't see how they could snooze through any game . I get reading your own press clippings and all, but after last week's wake up call , they should have been more focused vs MO . I have a feeling there's some issues brewing with that team .
