#1 UNC having lots of trouble with UNLV

I think there will be a massive over reaction to this game. UNLV played unbelievably well. If they can play like this on a regular basis than they have a great team. But make no mistake, UNC is amazingly deep with talented players. They ran into a hungry team that played flawlessly tonight and UNC played poorly. North Carolina's ceiling is higher than anyone's.

and i say unc's overrated...

13 threes will beat anyone. It still took an off night by UNC for this to happen, but the credit goes to UNLV. They deserved it. They played harder, smarter and they hit their shots. It happens.

Agree with all except the last sentence. We know what UNC is and what they can do. UK on the otherhand has limitless potential to be great, if they can get it together.

It's going to be a great game to watch next Saturday, but I have a feeling the two will meet again much farther down the line with much more on the line. My money is on the tar heels in both.

Both UNC and UK are obviously capable of winning it all. I am not sure what the argument is here besides you saying pretty much the same thing about UK that he said about UNC. The potential is definitely there on both sides.

Not a homer, those who know me can say I am far from it. UNC returns their starters, we have seen that team, the weakness, the strengths. Their ceiling is a championship, and final four expected. probably lose 3 or 4 games max this season.

While the same things are expected of UK, the talent on this team exceeds that of UNC, speaking in raw terms. If they learn to play together quickly, and defensive effort is 100%, this team has the ability to beat UNC 7/10 games. This team literally has the ability to run the table. Will it happen? Of course not. All I'm trying to say is that the ceiling is more "fixed" for Carolina, whereas it is more undefined and possibly higher for this UK squad.

Until Williams gets them to play D, they'll remain overrated. The PG is way overrated.

Every thinks UNLV shot the ball out of their mind, but I seen a bunch of wide open set shots behind the arc. These kids are recruited for a reason, when left that open almost anyone can shoot it that good.

I'd have to disagree that they are more talented.
