P.S.- I'm really pulling for Elee to end up a Vol..I feel like he'll be an absolute beast
from Day 1..

Not sure if they want to add another receiver to be honest. You already got three guys you like in 25 and are in good spots with King, Keefe, Travis Johnson and then 50/50 battle with UGA for Deion Thomas and obviously new names will emerge.

I agree but you never know what talent will stick around or not pan out. With the scholarship limit increasing it will be interesting to see if we add anymore from high school ranks our use the spares in the portal

Honestly I think guard is solid next year. The interior spot to add via portal is center. Karic and Umarov wouldn't be the worst pair of guards in the world. Could use some depth behind them tho, especially with Karic injury history

I thought Karic was out of eligibility?

Edit: looked it up. His utsports.com profile says he only has 1 year left (this year).

I think the Guard battle next year will be between Sham, Ginther, Anderson, and maybe Perry if playing him at G and Warren at RT gets our best 5 on the field. But I think a portal Guard also makes more sense than a Center. It looks like Satterwhite is being groomed for that.

Oh shoot you're right. I don't know why I thought he had another year. Thought he only played two years at Texas not three. Yeah you need a guard. Legit just Umarov with Karic/Lampley/Spraggins/Davis gone. Maybe Ayden Bussell but we haven't seen anything from him

Ginther and Anderson, depending on how they develop. They loved Ginther in the spring/fall practice.

Think they’ll have a pretty easy case for him to get the 2023 season back as he played just a handful of snaps in the fifth game last year.

The thing we have going for us with these young guys is positional versatility. Ginther and Perry (and Anderson too, I believe) are OTs that can play Guard. Sham is probably more of a Guard who can play RT. So if Warren, Heard, Perry, and Ginther (or Sham) are the 4 best Olinemen who aren’t Centers, we can start all 4. That’ll be a fun competition next fall.
