He's got some hair on fire idiocy, but I went through this last week: Most Vols fans cannot wrap their brain around the fact that up to this point in the season, Vandy has looked as good or better than us. Moreover, there's absolutely no argument anyone can make otherwise other than "We're UT and they're Vandy" which is of course backed up by jack squat.

I've been on this board since '08. So I'm not a "troll" like some have indicated. I come here and to other SEC boards because I enjoy watching and talking about college football. Just like every board, there are some classy and intelligent fans (like the one who posted this) and there are some "less than intelligent" fans who say things like "we're UT, they're Vandy and we'll always beat them, no matter what". I didn't start this thread because I wanted to pump up Vandy for playing us close. But I will tell you this, Vandy is a better program for hiring Franklin and will give UT and the rest of the teams on their schedule a game. Doesn't make sense to me for someone to say "Arkansas sucks" (despite being ranked #10) and "UT will beat Vandy without a question (despite being unranked). If you're going to make comments, back them up with facts and don't just throw out "homer" hogwash. Unless you're 12 and using your mommy's computer.

The level of compitition we faced over these last few weeks is on another level so I'm not going to say Vandy is some kind of power house that's just stupid.

Nobody is even remotely saying Vandy is a powerhouse, but they are playing better football than we are since they switched QB's. I don't even think that statement is much of a stretch. It's obvious. We'll see if things look better with Worley (and frankly I don't see how they can't).

We should beat them every year. At least in the near future. They simply aren't a good team.
