Those would be the two. However, by announcing that he will NOT announce tomorrow, it seems clear that USC was going to be the choice. After the Carroll fiasco today, he's postponing it. That can only help us, BUT it means we still have to beat out the Trojans.

Think about it, this young man has waited a long time to make this announcement on the biggest stage for HS athletics, to only find out the day before that his soon to be Head Coach is taking a job elsewhere.

That has to be quite upseting for Wright. Unless he's stuck on staying on the west coast, he's ours to lose IMO.

If Wright was coming here, there wouldn't be any delay in his announcement. Look for him to land at UCLA with his teammate.

Well not only the head coach but Pete may bring an assistant or two with him and the next head coach may want to bring in all new coaches. So all of the USC commitments and future commitments don't know what to think now.

ya i dunno. seems like having our hat was just going to be a puppet up there next to usc. he has said location is a key. there is a chance that he isnt really considering us at all

Sab, I agree why delay if UT is solidly number two except that before he was comparing apples to oranges and had decided in state. Now it is oranges to an apple that has a worm in it and has been kicked around in manure a bit. I think we may be able to pull him.

If we went after him, we'd have to say no to Robey or M Dixon.

I think we will stick with what we have. I'm not so convinced there is interest on either side there anymore. Wright never made the trip back to Knoxville because of $ and it takes $ for his parents to travel to games.

Poor guy (no pun intended).

The NCAA should allow for all schools to pay for players families to come watch them play. That would mean less $$$$$$ in the pocket of the schools but we could always do with less conference staff and admin.
