Hey do I not have the right to flip flop my decision? Even Sab did it! I just base my decisions on how facts are presented. I look at the facts, analyze it without a bias opinion, and try to rationally conclude an answer based on the weight of the evidence. But now i say F it, I am putting on my orange glasses and saying he is all VOL BABY!!!

You'd have a valid argument....if tonybasilio.com was another message board... So being that its not, there shouldn't be any issues to the link being posted here. Now if it were for rivals.com or scout.com I'd see your point..

The guy wants to generate traffic to his site and for his show. What's the big deal with him asking his content not be plastered all over the web, which prevents traffic from his site?


Also... Scroggins has really turned this in to a circus.

Less than 24 Hours we can all pop open a couple of beers to either celebrate or drown our sorrows. Either way, everybody that is of age should pick up a six pack of beers tomorrow afternoon and prepare to drink!

Yea, that would make sense.......I know most people age in reverse. If he was 21 in 2006, he should be roughly 18 right now. Spot on orutvol! :salute:

In that system it didn't really matter who had the better numbers. Wide receivers were running the wrong routes and linemen were confused about who to block. It was a crap shoot and numbers in that system don't mean much to me. On any given day I'm sure there were high school kids who could have put up better numbers in UT's first year using that system. Heck, some high school kid out performed Phillip Rivers at one of River's camps. So yeah, I am not putting much stock into their numbers under that system.

Man I hate to disagree with you, but I think it has been us that has turned this into a circus, not Scroggins. He was just taking time to make a life decision. Now he wants to feel important and be on national TV, so he is going with what ESPN told him to do. I mean, how often do you get to come out on ESPN? If I had the opportunity, I would do it whenever the he!! ESPN wanted me to.

I got your email mr. 1454. But about the age thing, think about it. He was what 13/14 in 2006? Would you not lie on there and say you were older to impress the ladies? If you read his about me on there, all he seemed to care about at that time was women. Who blames the boy!

BUT what has Crompton shown us? Before last year when he subbed for Ainge in the lsu game? His hail mary passes to Meachem that Meachem had to fight for? Crompton to date has not shown the fans that he is a capable qb. On the other hand NS kept drives alive and showed promise even in a bad system. I hope that John has a better year...I just think NS has more to offer..

Time should never deter you from drinking. I learned that at the great University of Tennessee. If you need a drink to celebrate or drown your sorrows, you take that drink at that time. It doesn't mean you have to get plastered, just have a few drinks in celebration or to relax. That doesn't make you an alchy, it makes you a smart drinker my friend!

Agree! Nick has a FIRE which is good and bad. I think he will end up being the guy.

True, its easy for me to say "he should just do it without the pomp and pagentry" but at 17-18 years old he's in a completely different mind-set than me... I just think the myspace messages and espn announcements are a bit much for a qb, in any other recruiting class, wouldn't be getting this much publicity.

Everything else gets plastered all of the internet. What makes is site special? His and every other vol site wants to generate traffic. It's naive of someone to think that their site content is more valuable than every other.

Does he not talk about topics from other message boards and news sources on his show? Or does he say, there is a breaking story on TOS about a recruit, but you will have to go there to read about it? Sounds to me like he is trying to play both sides in his favor.

I refuse to read anymore bs on this thread. I am going to watch espn tomorrow. I am exhausted with the speculation. I refuse to think that given the signs, and the timing of his commitment, that he won't pick us. I think he has been a silent since camp. :crazy::crossfingers::shaking2::finger3::detective::twocents::espn::puke5:
