Just so I know, who was the poster that said he switched his committment on TOS? If by some miracle this comes out to be true i'll think of his word by gold, but if it comes out wrong like everyone is thinking then I just found a new unreliable poster not to listen to anymore.

parkay32 started this whole mess on the "Who is next to commit?" thread in the recruiting forum. Haven't heard from him since her first dropped this bomb. It's on page 6 of that thread if you want to see how all this came to be.

i was on myspace and so was he so i messaged him (im 18 and a senior in highschool so its not creepy). We talked bout lots of football stuff. he said we were 3rd behind usc and florida. had some pretty interesting reasons for wanting to go to USC, and said he wasnt scared of competition and planned to beat barkley out for the starting job. The thing he said that caught my attention the most was about CLK. he said

Jesse:
"lane, he jus needs to be himself
hes trying to impress the ppl
not goood for the rekruits
bcuz he jus tells us wat we wanna hear
not the fakts we need to know"

LOL. Not harsh just reality. Scroggins is a decent recruit who believes he is more. He will not even rs if corps goes. Barkeley is a devoted christian who will likely play 4 years. Scroggins better get the most out of his education. He will need it.

What does devoted Christian and playing 4 years have anything to do with one another?

Are you saying if he were Jewish he would leave after 3 years and hold out on his contract until mid-way through his rookie year?

So every player that commits to USC is an idiot then. Most of them won't play as freshmen because they are stacked at every position.

In a few years when we are in the same shape, I guess everyone we sign will be an idiot also.

The kid picked the school he wanted to go to. End of story.
