He looks really crisp on his throws. I couldn't tell much about arm strength, but he leads his receivers well. I see the same flaws that have already been mentioned. He'd need a year in the S&C program IMO before he would see the field, but I think he could make a contribution his second year. I love, love, love this kid's accuracy. I'd rather a guy have good accuracy than a rocket arm any day.

He has more upside than anyone not named Blake Bell in this class, and is a much better passer than Bell will ever be IMO, but is as much a question mark as anyone else. When he puts on weight will it slow him down even more? I don't think his 40 time is accurate. I run faster than that I'm pretty sure. He's much more elusive than his 40 time suggests. I don't see any reason really he couldn't develop into a really good QB and I think he would be a good get if we could convince him to come out here. If he's a Manning fan, that's the angle I play.

The article about him on VQ eased my "fears" a little. At least we know now that we have indeed offered, and are in contact with him. I dont think there is another "big" program that doesnt already have a QB signed, that actually needs one. We need to full court press this kid, have him dump SDSU and commit, so we can use his recent Elite 11 performance and jump up to a 4-star prospect to help bring in some skill position players. Go get him coaches!

At this point though, I don't believe verbal offers until I hear they have written ones in hand. Too many things have happened this recruiting season to make me believe they are offered otherwise honestly.

I'm just going to go ahead and say it...remember all those guys Scroggins was going to bring with him? They are coming to UT anyway. Good things are on the way. All of this is just a gut feeling (worthless), but I'm happy to finally have the Scroggins indecision out of the way.

Potential, potential, potential is the one thing that Bray bleeds. Once he fills out, his arm could be one of the strongest in the country. He already possesses laser-like precision and can see the entire field from a vantage point that very few signal callers can. Bray does need to work on becoming a slightly better athlete in order to buy more time in the pocket and avoid the rush. Right now I would have to say he is somewhere around the top 100.

My friend was at Liscomb tonight in Nashville and talked to Kiffin. Said he was a great guy to talk to. He said that he ask Kiffin about Scroggins and Lane told him "yeah we knew about his choice for about a week now" and he ask him what is going to happen next with qb situation and Kiffin respond "Im not going to say but I believe we have a big fish on the reel and he smiled and said don't worry we got it under control. Just thought I would pass it on to you guys.
