I didn't think it was negative. Feels like he doesn't need to go to SDST on a visit...that's good and even if he wants to see if more offers come in, that's not the end of the world.

Where you at Vader, whats going on with this?

The guy who did the interview, Brandon Huffman, posted this on Scout after he put the article up:

Yeah, I thought he was pretty guarded in his comments, but at the same time, the tone made me think that he's gonna end up a Vol, and probably soon.

Nothing to worry about. The biggest news on Bray today is that his dad is still in Knoxville...

when do you think he will commit? wednesday or thursday

I think he's a silent. He didn't want to give it away just yet. I'm guessing he wants to talk to SDSU's coaches before he makes it public. That and I think he's waiting on his dad to get back from Knoxville.

If dad is still here and son isn't...... I would have to believe that is a good sign.

I think the young mans is handling it about right. Wait till Dad gets home to talk about the trip and whatever he is still in Ktown for. Big decision for a teenager. Standard comments to scout to get a little breathing room. Talk to SDS as soon as possible and get committed to UT within the next two weeks. Any help he can give us with a few of the big recruits would be sweeeeet.

he obviously comes from some money if the family is able to just uproot and move all the way across the country...anyone know what his pops does for a living?

Has anyone confirmed why his Dad stayed?

Maybe he wanted to go to Boomsday. :p

The prevalent rumor is that he's shopping for a house in Knoxville, which if true, pretty much gives away that Tyler is a Vol.

it's a new deal. he worked with a company for a long time until recently. uncle coaches at the high school.

I'd be happy with Bray or Scroggins, but I think Bray may fit our system a little better. He definitely has the height at 6-6, just needs to add about 20 lbs., which shouldnt be too hard

Did everyone really think he would make a public commitment on the spot, the first time he has ever seen the team, coaches, school and a live game?? I wouldnt over react like some are in saying they dont think we will get him, just cause he hasnt committed on the spot. Take a deep breath.....he should wait to tell the SDSU coaches first. Its the right thing to do.

Bray may be hoping for more offers now that he has shot up the list. He may want to enjoy the experience. We cannot press him because we do not have lots of better options.

BTW the Miami QB had the same knock of being too skinny that Bray has, Jacory is 6'4 190 now and looked pretty darn good tonight.
