I am right there with you, HV. This kid is my favorite with Dyer. Both vids are fantastic even with the vid enhancement that is going on in Dyer's vid

I would personally prefer Barr. Even though Dyer may be high ranked, I think he is too much like Oku/BB. Barr would be a nice compliment to those two. Not counting out Toney William whom Barr would have to beat out, but i don't expect TW to beat him out if he comes here.

UT has little to no shot here unfortuanately. His father was a RB at Notre Dame and his HS coach was an assistant at USC, and Pete Carroll has personally been to games of his. He is at the top at USC's list, and we all pretty much knows what happens when Pete Carroll really wants someone.

I hope you are wrong.

You are going to hear about this kid when he starts playing in college.

He has an Oregon offer. I dont know why any other school is even wasting their time. Oregon lock.

Barr has about as many positions in mind as he does programs. While he remains a long way from making a college decision, he said Notre Dame, California, UCLA, USC and Florida stand out for now. From that group, only the Gators have not offered a scholarship.

As for the schools chasing Barr the hardest into the summer, he singled out UCLA, Notre Dame, California, Michigan, Tennessee and Nebraska.

Me too, I really hope the staff doesn't give up on him or let up. I'd love to see him in UT Orange. I'm talking Eric Dickerson type runner. Tall and a load to bring down. Speed as well. Would do good in our offense.

Eric Dickerson is spot on. Big, tall back like Eddie George or Earl Campbell. He is a beast.

He's got power but some impressive open field moves after he hits the hole. He could break it every time he has the ball.

"Notre Dame, Cal, UCLA, USC and Florida," Barr said. "Florida hasn't officially offered yet, but they said they are going to. I haven't received anything, so I am not sure about that."

Barr's father is Tony Brooks, who played tailback for the Irish from 1987-1991. Barr's uncle is Reggie Brooks, who played the same position at Notre Dame from 1989-92. Barr's mother, a St. Mary's graduate, spoke very highly of Notre Dame and Anthony's experience on campus last summer. “It sounds so cliche, but it would be a dream come true,” she said if Barr attended Notre Dame. “I’m sure a million people can say this, but my kid was in his crib at two months old holding a Notre Dame football.”

I wish he was an ND lock, but there are no locks.

And you guys are right, this kid is a freak.

They get a new home and a bag of cash with a hush note?

Of all the '10) recruits I like AB the best. I only wished the staff felt the same and recruited him harder. As long as he don't go to another SEC school and ends up at ND I'm cool.

Hopefully you won't have to worry about another SEC team getting him. The "problem" with him is that you just don't hear very much from him about his recruitment.

As of 7/2 his (reported) top five were ND, Cal, UCLA, USC and Florida.

Florida has not offered but said they will. Says ND and UCLA are recruiting him the hardest.
