truth telling and reading comprehension sure don't seem to be your strong points. on the other hand you seem to be quite proficient at rabble-rousing and hyperbole.

In a perfect world, you'd be banned for a minimum of a month from VN for such lack of knowledge. USC's fight song is one of the best in college sports. Fight on!

YouTube - Fight On!

I sure how you're at least familar w/ Notre Dame and Michigan's fight songs...

Carroll is rumored to be at Riley's game as well. At least from poster on Voquest. USC seems to be putting the press on....

Riley will not make or break this class. What concerns me is we seem to be striking out in Cali. We have Bray but alot of that has to go to the QB situation here. We have recruited California pretty hard and are supposed to be going back out there in the bye week. I would like to see a few more players leaning this way.

You are all the way in Tennessee, if you can pull 1-2 players from Cali a year you should be happy. I know at UF that's how I think about it. It's tough to get kids to come east if they have spent their entire lives on the Left Coast.

this exemplifies the difference in our recruiting compared to uf's. it is harder to get kids to come from places like cali, but it's something that we have to do because tennessee doesn't produce the talent that florida does. you guys can look at out of state kids as icing on your recruiting classes, for us they have to be the cake. that is why the in-roads that our staff has made are so much more impressive than any recruiting class that urban can pick out of his own backyard.

We have major/huge connections to Cali - I think that's the reason why some people say we're striking out there. Florida doesn't.

Florida is able to sell a spread. Cali doesn't really have any great spread teams.

UT basically sells the exact same thing USC does, except a worse version of it at this point.

Until we start giving all of the Cali recruits a reason to come out here, they'll stay closer to home to do basically the same thing.

Tennesse has historically recruited pretty well in Cali

That success will continue, but maybe not in 2010...look out for 2011 and beyond

I completely agree your connections are much better than ours. However, historically it's tough to get the TOP players from Cali to come east. It could get even tougher if UCLA keeps improving, and kids are even starting to look at Stanford now.

he was there. i know a coach on the saint francis team. i'd be shocked to see him go anywhere but sc.

you really think a kid from la canada is going to go anywhere, but SC if pete carroll is giving him the full court? all of his coaches btw are huge sc fans. the fix is in.

He's already telling his friends he's going to play football in the south. The dude has been a lean towards Tennessee for forever.

No one cares what you believe. You've been wrong on most every prospect you've predicted.

name one.

i said scroggins committed to sc days before it actually happened.

once again i know one of riley's coaches. coincidently really, since he's the only hs coach i know. edit: i also know that area very very well and can tell you that all of his friends and family are likely sc diehards and i know the coaches are in awe of carroll.

1) As did Vader, Eric, Sab, LWS, and every other realistic poster on this board did for the 3-4 weeks prior to his announcement.

2) Likely, as in you really do not know, despite your "source".

they told you he had committed already? bs

if i said he was a lock to tenn based on my sources (which btw are far better than anyone on this forum) would i be flamed? of course not.

I have no agenda here. I like the vols and i sure don't want sc getting this guy.

calm down boys. believe whatever you want.

Him saying "likely" is no different than Sab saying no one cares what he believes b/c he has "been wrong on MOST prospects." Sab saying MOST is just as ambiguous and fluid of a qualifying word as saying LIKELY....
