Not Sab, but if we get Dixon's Parents to come visit with him (which seems to be the story for lots of recruits) we are going to be in it to the end for his signature, and we may be the only school outside of TX with a legit shot at landing him.

Thats true. I should have said we can see now it wasn't a big factor or at least enough not to keep them both from going to UT. Hindsight is great. My bad

I got a text from my friend who works with rivals. He texts me info with anything regarding UT. His text says "looks like USC and UF may pass on Riley, meaning he could fall into UTs lap." I said the same thing about the talent. He responded with "they have people higher on their board that they feel they have legitimate shot at."

I never really understood why Florida was pursuing Riley...they are stacked already with DB recruits...and i don't buy Meyer recruiting him as a WR...

Does it give anybody a moment of pause that UF and USC might have cooled on him? Maybe they see something the rest of us don't? After all, they obviously know what they are doing when it comes to recruiting. Don't get me wrong, I have full faith in our staff and I would take their opinion over anyones, but it does make me stop and think.

Wouldn't think to much into that scenario....

Both of those programs have been recruiting extremely well year in year out...USC has a lot of depth in the secondary...one reason we might end up with D.Wright

UF is just as loaded and they already have a heck of a DB class for this year...

Same reasoning goes for us at RB...we are only gonna take 1 top tier guy...if that
