Speaking of decommits, is there another flip in the Gators’ future? Reportedly Florida commitment Matt Elam is considering switching to Tennessee after a visit to Knoxville this past weekend. Lane Kiffin, who infamously angered the Gators by getting Pahokee’s Nu’Keese Richardson to flip last year, already has a couple this recruiting season, including the aforementioned Byrnes defensive end Corey Miller (from FSU), and the Vols are credited for JaWuan James’ decision to back out on Alabama, too. . . .

its true. i know only because i played against him in state play and have 13 sacks and 14 safeties. however, i am 4'10 and weigh 332. And have a 50 inch vertical.

“It was a great trip and a great time,” Elam told InsideTennessee.com Sunday evening. “I could believe how intense the game was and how crazy the crowd was.”

“Coach Kiffin has assembled one of the best coaching staffs in the country,” Elam said. “I got to visit with Monte Kiffin a lot. It’s amazing how much he knows about defense and great a coach he really is. It would be an honor to play for him.”

“The Tennessee coaches are telling me that I would have the opportunity to be the next Eric Berry type of player for their program,” Elam said. “I loved the way they are promoting Berry, all the videos and billboards. Hey that could be me one day.”

Elam said he still considers himself a Florida commitment, but a great talk with UT’s coaches, particularly defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin, this weekend and the lure of playing defense at West Virginia has him thinking.

“I said that before I had a talk with Monte Kiffin,” Elam said of his commitment. “I committed there because I wanted to be there but I looked around and other things caught my attention.”

Well that further confirms the story I told from the Luc thread. That guy said the hostesses "kept doing the Vol symbol with their mouth open ...(blah blah rated R)", but I didn't know exactly what he was talking about. He said in his opinion Luc and Riley were Vols based on what they were saying (I'm sure when goaded these guys will say lots of great stuff at every university-just remaining objective) but he didn't know much about the others. He did say something about a really dark skinned guy being into it bigtime too. Meline came to mind but I know he wasn't supposed to be there.

Once again, I am just passing on this. I have NO inside sources at all. All this coming from a guy who has done real estate deals with Luc's uncle and who was with Luc/uncle on visit.

I have a good/bad feeling about it. I have a good feeling he's not going to be a Gator. I have a bad feeling he's going to pick WVU. I hope I'm wrong.

I have a great feeling about him now. Even though those rumors about him ripping up every letter UT sent him and him saying that he would love to beat UT every year has me a little confused.

And the "Vol" mouth symbol thing is hilarious. As in the laugh at the person doing it hilarious. Do people really do this often and are they serious about it?
