Yeah, I've actually heard that some of the UF coaches aren't completely pleased with a visitor list of this size. Too easy for a priority or two to not get the attention that he deserves in this situation. Impressive list but can also backfire.

Ian Silberman a UF commit from Fleming Island says that 4 prospects have told him they are "under the table commits" to Florida and will hold back announcing until after the All American games. Says Silberman.."All 4 guys are really special players. With just those 4, it would probably be the nations top class."

Any guesses at who the 4 are?

Powell, Floyd, Dunkley, and Christian Jones?

Powell and Dunkley are 2 for sure, but I do not know about the other 2. Rumors are pointing Floyd to OSU. I'm guessing Hicks might be another one and the 4th I don't have a great idea.

I'd say Stills if he had already visited, but I guess I'll say Riggs since he was considered a lean to UF, but I read that Shaw coming to UF might chase off Riggs.

I dunno how much of a shot we have, but Kiffin has never stopped recruiting this kid. He has been on him hard for a while...

It is going to be interesting to say the least. I think they will lose some kids, but prolly not as much as we all think.

the truth is we don't need a lot from their class... but Elam, Brown and Siberman sure would look good with this class, especially if you add in Green :clapping:

I just get the feeling that you guys are going to be really disappointed in how recruiting will end up. It sounds like the only one that is considering a switch is Elam and he is a really emotional kid. Once Meyer talks to him, he will be back in the mix.

We may lose out on guys like Floyd and Hicks, but for the most part we will remain with what we looked good for before this whole mess happened.

Now whether or not Urban is the same, who knows? Who knows if he is even going to coach at UF next year or in 2011. But I think our recruiting class will remain mostly un-changed.

I think if you recruiting remains intact than Urban has indeed pulled the biggest scam on high school kids ever.. This whole LOA non-sense is mainly to save face...
