Eduardo Clements is approaching 20 offers and has stated that he feels no pressure to stay near home and he'll go where he fits and the staff says the right things.

He grew up an FSU fan, but they've shown no interest thus far. You have to wonder if he'll hold it against them if they finally get involved.

Clements is a versatile athlete who has been used in the passing game.

5'10 with a recent 4.37 forty time recorded.

"Clements is the total package: fast, quick, tough, and he might have the best hands in the state at RB."

--Geoff Vogt of SunStateFootball.com

“After talking with my dad, right now Georgia is number one, then USF is number two, then Miami, Boston College, and Rutgers. Those are my top five in that order."

Scout.com: A Surprising No. 1 for Clements

Running back Eduardo Clements is one of the fastest running backs in the Southeast and showed it Sunday when he posted a 40-yard dash time of 4.37. Clements has a lot of natural ability and really is one of the better prospects at his position, even though there are many quality running backs in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties this year.

''Teams were doing a lot to slow him down in particular coming into this year,'' Booker T. Washington coach Earl Tillman said. ``We tried to do a lot of different things with him this year, too. We used him a lot more in the passing game, which took away some of his carries. But ultimately, you want to get the ball into your best player's hands.''

Junior Watch Lister Eduardo Clements visited Miami this weekend and now has the Hurricanes out in front for his services, ESPN affiliate InsideTheU.com reports.

"I am very comfortable calling Miami my leader.

Grew up a FSU fan. Brother lives 5 minutes from campus and that's a big deal to him. FSU leads over West Virginia, Maryland, Clemson and USF. He also mentions FSU will always be in the lead for him.

Rivals $

FSU leads.

12/25

Top 3 of FSU, BC, and Miami. Miami has fallen due to their loaded depth chart.

From the Oregon site. Clements says he is interested in Oregon and hears from them on a regular basis. Miami, Georgia, West Virginia, USF and UCF are just a few of the offers he holds at this time. Eduardo claims no leaders and plans to visit FSU, West Virginia, Georgia and Florida for junior days/camps.

Well maybe Tennessee didn't make the cut of his list of school so that's why Rivals doesn't us.

There are thousands of players to keep up with and Rivals/Scout/ESPN and others can only make so many updates. You can't expect every single thing to get reported by every single resource.

ESPN broke the news that Trimble had been offered and the other sites only added the offer days later.

We are only in Feburary of '09. It's a little early to be worried we aren't making 2010 cut lists.

I made that statement based off of his top 5 that he listed in your OP. I figured that we would at least be in the mix but maybe the offer wasn't in yet at the time of the article. I don't have a subscription to Scout so I can't read the article.

yeah I agree, I am definitely not worried about 2010 recruiting right now.

New article up. He plans on camping at UT. His teammates include Lynden Trail, Jose Jose, Ted Meline, and Quinton Dunbar. Vol coaches have told him he could see work on special teams and possibly receiver.

"There's a lot of guys from our school with offers and probably all of us will go on a visit to Tennessee," he said.

"Tennessee has a wonderful program. I've looked at the brochures, all the mail at school and at my house. I like the whole program," said Clements, who's rushed for a combined 1,850 yards and 41 touchdowns the past two seasons. "I like the new attitude of their new coach, Lane Kiffin. If you want to be the best, you've got to beat the best. That's something he's working on. I believe it's going to be a close game this year with them and Florida. The type of attitude he's got makes players want to come to that program, and it's something I'm looking into."

Haven't all of them said that they'd like to play at the same school? I can't remember if I've heard that or if I made it up lol

If they do want to play at the same school, it seems pretty good since IIRC we've offered all of them and they all seem to be showing interest.

It's amazing how many RB's name us in their list of top schools considering what we brought in last year. I'm not complaining at all though.

free video from 4/3, for those of you who haven't seen him in action. don't get caught up with the schools he mentions, because he's still considering several programs.

Rivals new article on our top five RB on our wish list includes him at the number 2 spot. This kid is from the same school that several prospects we are going after. Jose Jose hails from his school, too.

Lyndon Trail, Quinton Dunbar, Ted Meline are the three from his school that we are pursuing.

Kid is an APB type, has good hands, playmaker. We can expect an official visit from him.

I believe him and Jose Jose attended the same school, but recently Jose transferred so he will not be there everyday talking to these guys.

Sounds like this guy's Jawjuh-bound from the latest Rivals article which is a pity.

It's not like they can't him get to the league, but I doubt he'll be used as creatively at Jawjuh as he would be at Tennessee.

Jose will still be on a team with 4 or 5 big name recruits. Hopefully, he can help us reel in Reese. I would take Reese over any of the Booker T players...

That really sucks. I am sure if he is interested in UT at all, Georgia will recruit him that much harder. I think that is Richt's sneaky way of getting back at Kiffin without ruining his saintly image. I still haven't got past the OL that visited us after nsd and when he got back to Georgia they had a scholarship offer waiting for him when they hadn't even been recruiting him. Makes me sick.

Don't know about that Vader. Dunbar and Meline are big-time receivers. Clements is a big-time back. And they are coached very well.
