'10 FL WR Chris Dunkley

Sab LOL thats some slanted journalism. that Nature Coast team had 2 strikes against them, one more and they'd be out for the yr. thats why they didnt wanna play it, because the staff didnt trust their own kids judgement as well

I thought the impression was he was a Gator lock anyway, so this incident shouldn't make to much impact on him.

I'd be more concerned with it potentially effecting 2011 and beyond kids. Although as pointed out everyone has arrests so in 2 years time its relevance will have died down significantly

You must have missed this quote:

"Playing Pahokee would be like pouring gasoline on a fire.”

The reason the game was canceled was because it was Pahokee.
I thought Dunkley was originally from Pahokee, left, and now has came back? I'm pretty sure he moved from Pahokee when he was younger...
That is correct. Dunkley has lived most of his life in Pahokee.

And what about the Booker T Washington coach that had his leg broken after Pahokee players started a brawl after losing a 7 on 7 with BTW?

What about Raheam Buxton who goes by the nickname "Trouble"? Dude used to run through his house breaking vases and trying to fight older relatives.

Quinton Dunbar? Smashing people with a metal pole?

Oh, and Janoris Jenkins is a complete thug too. Fighting, resisting arrest and having to be tasered....

That school is full of model citizens.

Tennessee fans should not be talking about anybody or call anybody a thug team. Shall I mention Travis Henry, Lenard Little, Donté Stallworth, Dwayne Goodrich. Three of these guys killed people

Please.

Leonard Little, horrible and he ran a red light and killed a lady.

Neither Goodrich or Stallworth had drinking as the proximate cause of the death of the individual.

For Goodrich a man was standing on an interstate at nights with no lights around. Any of us could have killed him. If you are trying to assist in an accident you have to use a road flare, have hazards on for your car etc.

Stallworth?
I firmly believe that the man who jumped in front of his car after seeing Donte flash his lights was looking to get paid Grand Theft Auto style and did not realize when he jumped into the street in front of him illegally that it would kill him to get hit by a Bentley going 35...

You make a point here.......BUT......none of these happend while they wre in school.

Please.

whoaaa... come on. :nono:

My Aunt and Uncle lived in the Pahokee area for several years and they refused to let us come see them because of the area. They were scared for our lives when we did get to visit. But, you can't deny the talent that has come from Pahokee

Fred Taylor RB
Anquan Boldin WR
Alphonso Smith CB

and few more that made it to the NFL

It's sad, but that's often what you get from youth in areas like Pahokee where the parent/parents have to work multiple jobs or double shifts just to be able to put food on the table.

I can't imagine how rough it would be to live in a place that has a high cost of living and no jobs to make money....wait, that's why I left FL.

While they were in the NFL. The fact that they didn't get in trouble much while at UT shows that our program was at least able to keep them clean.

Your coach allows it to happen on his watch. Fulmer didn't run the cleanest program but certainly cleaner than Urban who doesn't even pretend to care about discipline.

Fred taylot is from belle glade played at glades central which produces the most nfl active players next town over from the muck fred taylors son plays at glades day the private school made all state last year as a 8th grader and is on pace to do it this year also

Fulmer did what? Yes, UF is right behind UGA over the last few years for arrest but UT has a long "rap" sheet also 21 Players arrest over past 4 years.

Jerod Mayo (aggravated assault)
Robert Ayers (aggravated assault)
Britton Colquitt (felony DUI)
Arian Foster (disorderly conduct)
David Holbert (disorderly conduct)
Antonio Wardlow (disorderly conduct, public intoxication)
Tony McDaniel (aggravated assault)
Bert Smith (misdemeanor assault)
Brett Schaeffer (misdemeanor assault)
Lee Smith (DUI)
Marsalous Johnson (aggravated assault)
Vince Faison (DUI)
Gerald Jones (marijuana possession)
Ahmad Page (marijuana possession)
Anthony Parker (disorderly conduct)
Daryl Vereen (public intoxication)
Marvin Mitchell (disorderly conduct)
Josh McNeil (underage drinking, public intoxication)
Justin Jackson (felony, manufacturing, selling and delivering crack cocaine)
Demetrice Morley (outstanding warrant of strong-armed robbery charge)
Daniel Brooks (driving with a suspended license)

The fact that you know that much about our football team is sad
Between google, espn and public records it wasn't hard. Just needed to show the facts that UF gets ALL the
"press" but UT is just as bad. UT got a fresh start with the Kiffin hiring but it could repeat itself if he doesn't handle this soon. Meyer has allowed players second chances and most came back to bite him in the arse. If you get a felony on your job would your boss/company allow you to stay? Just think Meyer,Kiffin and SEC need to take a HARDER stance when it comes to felonies. JMO
