"I committed to Ohio State. It went down today," Louis announced. "I spoke with the coaches yesterday, but surprised them this morning with a commitment. They had been trying to get me committed for the longest [time] and now that I did it they were surprised and happy at the same time."

Sounds like Meyer slow-played Louis and it ticked him off.
Unfortunately, a story was written on Gatorcountry about him committing and UF did not accept his commitment because we have higher ranked players on the board and we were waiting on other players (Dunkley) to commit before we were allowing Louis to go public. The story went public before UF accepted his commitment. It's an embarrassing situation and embarrasses the kid. Don't blame him for this one. Good get for OSU. Great looking player.

how many more wideouts are you taking this class?

UF will take a minimum of 4 WR's in the 2010 class. probably 5, so look for 3 more players to end up in orange and blue. The board still has a lot of players on it, so don't ask me who.

Actually, this sounds like the same game our coaches have been playing with the QB's. Some of this information is just too public for the good of the program. I can not blame the kids for looking out for their own best interest. It is obvious in some of these situations they are just being used.

But the players do it also. I think that Scoggins played his visits to Florida and UT to push USC. It was very evident in his workout efforts.

Meyer is getting awfully cocky, if it's true he turned down Ambles and Louis in the same week.

Louis to Ohio State, but I think other schools (like Tennessee) will continue to recruit him.

I agree Jack. I can't help but think that a big reason he went ahead and committed to Ohio St. was to prove a point to Florida and the snake Meyer. I could be wrong, but if UT continues to recruit this kid which I believe they will, I don't think you can count us out by any means.

Louis' team played Matt Elam and Dwyer tonight. Early in the first half, Elam absolutely crushed Louis over the middle. Louis never returned to the game. Dwyer won 49-7...
