'10 FL WR Kenny Shaw

I'll blame the coaching.

I was talking about at New Orleans. Meachem always had the NFL physical skills. Just the Football IQ part. I think he had a lil bit of some troubles as a freshman at UT. I think if he had stayed for his SR season it wouldn't have made much difference. He plays for the best team there is for his style of play. New Orleans is all about finding mismatches and hitting their home run threats.

Kelley "The Future" Washington is playing on MNF right now haha.

Meach, Washington, Price, Mark Jones, Eric Parker, Stallworth, David Martin, etc.

That's just from Tennessee. You also have to look at what Kiffin did at USC, he deserves partial credit on all those WRs too.

My only thing is we're starting to get low on available scholarships and we've got some nice WRs already committed. I wonder, if we were to take another WR, who's higher on our board: Shaw or Justin Hunter

I can't believe you are serious with that question. Justin Hunter is way better than Shaw. There's no question who we would take first.

Anyway, I hadn't seen this posted:

"I am planning to visit Tennessee and Florida State," Shaw said. "If I take a fifth official visit, it will be to Georgia."

We also had a kid named Gault you can add to your UT NFL list....Funny thing is... at 48 he can give every WR recruit we are after a serious challenge in the 100 meters.

he only ran a 10.72sec 100 and a 21.8sec 200. Old man

Compare that to Gault, who can still crack 10 seconds in the 100-yard dash, and last year ran the 40 in a blistering 4.27. Age-grading track and field tables suggest that his recent 10.80 for the 100 meters at 48 is the equivalent of 9.76 by a man in his 20s – only a step behind Usain Bolt, and fast enough for a silver medal at the Beijing Olympics.

Nobody on our team could touch him.

I thought we had a good recruiting staff, but FSU is blowing everyone out of the water tin recruiting. What they have done in the bast couple of weeks is amazing.

I think he is only mentioning us to keep the suspense up for his televised decision. He's been FSU for a long time.
even before Bowden was Let go

There is always a chance. But, I'd still like to get Hunter instead.

Their recruiting staff really has nothing to do with it. Every player they have gotten with the exception of Matt Elam grew up loving the Noles and were considered Nole locks in the summer. The only reason players like Luc, Joyner, Jones, Shaw, etc. started looking around is cuz the Noles sucked on the field and all the coaching problems. They were always gonna be Noles as long as there was some sort of stability at FSU. Meyer losing his mind last week and the thought of being teamed up on a defense with all that talent pushed Elam there...
