I’m trying to look at the power 5 conferences in my head and I can’t see them being outside the top 10. They haven’t necessarily been impressive in every win but they have won and it hasn’t been a total cupcake schedule.

Florida is a good win. But the Mizzou and utc thing is going to hurt them. Beat LSWho and then the Florida win isn’t a fluke

Yeah I said years ago when Stoops was starting out that if we could get a point where we could win 8 maybe 9 a year it would be fantastic. Throw in a season every now and then where we get 10 and I'd be satisfied. UK will never consistently beat UGA, UT, and UF. We will never win sec titles or probably play in one unless something crazy happened. But the OOC games and other sec teams are usually beatable. I like where we are as a program.

Edit: too be honest this could be a crazy year. Maybe the ball continues to bounce Kys way and you win the East. I just think it’s unlikely.
your basketball program is a threat every damn year.

I don't get this. Fans had a big win after many years of pent up frustration. Enjoy the win an celebrate. Don't get to that Bama arrogance "We have never torn down a goal post after a win". Good for them, but I saw my 70 year old Dad running up and down Shields Watkins after Majors beat Bear, and didn't expect to see him there. I was sitting with friends and happened to get down on the field. One of the best memories of my Dad, spontaneously enjoying the moment. It's college football for heavens sake. The NFL and college are becoming more and more alike. This is one thing you don't see in the NFL and it's pure.

Calm down madam and have a midol and some cabarnet . I said enjoy it and that I was happy for you and I meant it . We all know what it’s like experiencing year after year of futility -vs- the gators . I did not imply that you were only here because the Cats won. I can see why you would be here regularly since this is the best sports message board out there. None of the other forums come close to VN so I do not fault you in the least for hanging out here as opposed to some garbage site like Wild Cats Lair or Cats Pause .If I were a hipster such as yourself I might even describe them as”weak sauce” 🙄🥴. I merely pointed out that it was humorous to me for a thread about UK-UF to have not only yourself and some other UK fans but UF fans as well and that I found it even more funny to imagine myself heading over to a UK site to celebrate a UT win of that magnitude .

I’ve seen LC‘s post for many years and merely made the observation that I found it funny for a UK fan to be on a UT fan forum celebrating a win against UF . I do not know what him or any other Russian have to do with the cost of vodka in Moscow relative to college football . It is cute for you to rush to his defense but if the voices in your head keep telling you things about the Russkies please seek help .
