Someone on MB said he maybe favoring us. Can anyone shed any light in the situation?

I live in Jeffery's hometown. I just got off the phone with one of his coaches... He is choosing between Auburn and Georgia. Coach said he was leaning towards playing for Monte but that, as we know, fell apart. So he is not a Vol.

He was never going to play for Monte (I shouldnt say never, but it was a far-fetched idea). I know for a fact, from a source inside the coaching staff, that Monte wanted him on the o-line, not the d-line, so Jeff didnt want to do that. Coach Thompson tried to convince Monte that he was a good/great fit on the D-Line, but Monte wouldnt listen to it. He's been leaning towards Auburn and GA since day one, but gave UT a listen a few weeks ago. Just too little too late.
