I agree on the UGA part, but the article is from yesterday before it was reported as being false. He still has 10 teams in it, but probably only UGA is the 1 team in it.
Definition: A prospect who takes his time with the recruiting process and thoroughly researches every school he is considering.
The example: Mike Thornton, DT, 6-foot-2, 280 pounds, Stephenson High, Stone Mountain. AJC’s No. 3-ranked player.
Fun fact: Thornton was asked to bring all mailings he has received throughout the recruiting process to Stephenson for a photo shoot. He couldn’t carry them all. The cards and letters alone fill three bulk mail carriers that are now in his attic and media guides alone would have required a hand truck. But he did scoop up a grocery bag full of mail that he had in his bedroom drawer — most of which had not been opened. “I used to read them all but as the season went on I read them less and less,” he said. “They all start sounding the same after a while and there’s just too many of them. I just didn’t have time.”
Recruiting situation: Unpredictable. It appears that Thornton favors Georgia, Kentucky and Penn State, the three schools that he visited. But just as quickly he speaks glowingly of Auburn and Tennessee.
Mitchell-Thorton should be blowing up his cell phone. He went to Stephson to and has played with him. I doubt if he is or has, but it would be nice. Posted via VolNation Mobile
Are we still in on Thornton? It looks like he's still uncommitted and has his Tennessee mail on is desk. With La Tech mail also on his desk, it looks like Dooley has probably been recruiting him for a while.
If we get this kid, Richt will be walking the plank. If we don't, then Richt will still be gone soon anyway because Dooley is gonna be taking peanuts out of their clay for a while.
