'10 GA OT JaWuan James

I have a feeling Juwuan is a silent, now i have never said anyone was a silent b4, but I think Kiff told him to wait. After Bama beats us on the 24th, we will probably see Cullen and James commit on the 25th, just a thought.

I just got off the phone with JaWuan. Said he was at dinner but will call me back later tonight.

Hopefully he comes through... If he does ill have a full write up ASAP.

That's the spirit.

At least wait til the game is played before you chalk it up as a loss. Odds don't favor us but after watching them against Ole Miss... anything can happen. Bama was up 5-1 in turnovers at one point and only had 22 points. If they can only get 22 points off 5 turnovers against Ole Miss then I like our defenses chances.

Well I believe you have to approach this game like the UF game, limit mistakes and have managable 3rd downs. The running game will be crucial to keep the D fresh. My problem is Bama is not going to make many mistakes and I have a feeling UT's special teams is not going to improve dramatically. Arenas is just as good as James if not better. I see a low scoring game, but Bama has too much for us this year, my hope is SC can go in there and bang them up good so we are fresh and they are coming off a dogfight. If SC keeps that game intersting it helps us. If bama is crusing and able to go through the motions in the 2nd half, they will be ready to go on the 4th Saturday in OCT. GO VOLS!

You are incorrect Sir. We are going to beat bama on the 24th.

Loved his visit, better than expected, but no favorite. Says coaches have a good relationship w/ his parents.

“Kiffin and his team sent a message to Georgia,” James said. “He has been telling me from day one that they want to take over the state of Georgia in recruiting. He backed up what he said with that big win.”

After reading that article, it certainly sounds as though everything went about as good as it could have. I'm starting to think he's going to end up here. Go Vols!

the title on scout is misleading a little bit... it says he loved his visit ... and all he would really say is we are even or close ( us and georgia )???

“Sorry I haven’t called you back, I lost my phone and just got a new one today,” James told InsideTennessee.com Tuesday afternoon. “I haven’t been in hiding or anything, just been out of reach.”

“He said he doesn’t plan on losing to Georgia during his career at Tennessee,” James said. “As long he backs it up like he did Saturday, I have no problem with it. I like that attitude.”

"They have developed a great relationship with my parents,” James said. “My parents love them a lot; they have a lot of confidence in them.”

Per Scout...

That sounds like more of a commitment than anything else! "doesn't plan on losing to Georgia during his career at Tennessee"

Seems to me that, if he were going to Georgia, he would have a problem with it...

I agree. His remarks about the game, and CLKs comments about UGA are the tell.

Especially since UGA is supposed to be the competition for him. Hard to imagine why he would say what he did.

I still say he ends up at UGA. Sorry... anytime a recruit is interviewed directly after a visit, they are going to say they enjoyed it.

Didn't you guys learn your lesson with Leifheit???
