According to Chad Simmons at Scout.com, James has canceled his official to UGA scheduled for next weekend and all signs are pointing to a Vol commitment in the near future.

There has been a lot of talk about James visiting UGA officially next weekend for the Auburn game but he informed me today that he was not going to visit them.

IMO James should be making a decision fairly soon and all signs point to UT getting the top OL in Georgia unless something drastic happens.

i got word today that north gwinnett offensive tackle jawuan james is no longer planning on making an official visit to athens next weekend, and i confirmed that it is indeed true. While james has been to georgia multiple times, i really feel the bulldogs needed one last chance to pull ahead of tennessee. All signs point to james committing to the volunteers soon, most likely in the next two weeks.
