Right now from what I am hearing UT seems like it could be the choice. It really helps our cause having the last visit and Nash in his ear as a Vol commit.

Just watched some video on Nance on YouTube and had a couple of thoughts. His passes didn't seem to be very crisp (maybe a not-so-strong arm), but he looked really good in space when he scrambled. Rivals shows him as 6'3" and around 200. Has there been any mention of switching him to WR or maybe a small TE (if he fills out)? I know that everyone says Chaney is really high on him, but that could be coach speak for "I'm really high on Da'Rick Rogers." Thoughts?

i posted this in the other thread but I just saw that his bench max is 340 that is pretty amazing for a hs qb! He may have the strength and Chaney just needs to help him unleash the beast.

A diploma is worth only what you do with it. Tops in your class at UT will take you anywhere you want to go.

Oh, I absolutely agree. I didn't go to UT (got in), but didn't go to an elite school either. I'm not saying it's fair either. I think I got a great education at Ohio You (NOT Ohio St., I hate OSU), even though my diploma wouldn't be equal on paper w Vandy either. Just how it is. But this kid's 4.0 student. With rigors of college football, he likely won't be tops in class at UT or Vandy. If he liked Knoxville, I say go for it, but it is a nice opp to have a Vandy or Duke or Harvard (another plave he got an offer) on a diploma. That's all i'm saying.
