'10 GA RB Rajaan Bennett

Dooley has an in-home scheduled with Bennett for tomorrow. DD apparently loved Bennett's film and called him immediately...

Good sign...do we know LV what guys specifically Dooley found as a recruiter at LSU? I am curious because most guys have an eye for certain positions. Lane was great at getting WRs for example. Cut with QBs etc. What is Dooley's thing?

I'm not sure. If I was guessing, I would say RBs since he coached them. Under Saban, he was the AssHC/RBs/STs/RC. He was pretty much Saban's right hand man and was also responsible for Saban giving serious looks to 2 no-name coaches from Valdosta St, Will Muschamp and Kirby Smart...

Interesting choice of abbreviation.

Yeah I knew about that. He coached TEs for a year as well I think. It makes sense if it is RBs I will have to go see what RBs they got in those years.

I saw a list the other day. He brought in some quality receivers and landed was credited with Perilloux coming to LSU. That was a tough pull from Texas that year. He recruited the bulk of the core group that won the NC.

You are 100% correct

Yeah my bad, my post was pure sarcasm. Sorry I forgot to mention that. But honestly, I haven't heard anything confirmed.

Rumor is that Bennett has been a silent to the Vols since Tuesday. He was scheduled for a visit to Vandy this weekend and for a visit to UT the next weekend. Well, it appears Bennett has cancelled his visit to Vandy this week. hmm... interesting...

Nice, hope he likes competition though. Do we see this guy playing any other position besides RB here? The depth at RB is pretty thick and we could use help on the other side of the ball. If a Rivals 250 guy wants to come, you don't say no, but just trying to see him fitting in early here.
