he can defiantly hit, but doesnt tackle real well, needs to work on form, and most people wont get that but if u watch the tape u can see that he tries to either get the big hit, or he arm tackles, im sure they get torn through a lot, but idk need to see full game film, overall he looks pretty good needs some coaching on some of the basics IMO

That's the thing though, most of his deficiencies are coachable. He has instincts, and he's quick and fluid.

The kids tackling fundamentals need some work, he does seem to have those intangibles that cannot be easily coached. He follows the ball well and adjusts well of the blocker to get to the ball. His speed doesn't look to be an issue. He has a very nasty, mean streak you like to see in a safety and looks to punish the ball carrier every time he can. In the clips I saw he was all over the field chasing plays down from the opposite side.

Like someone else mentioned it is very hard to evaluate these kids from highlights, I will say that our coaching staff should evaluate him and see if he might fit in to their needs, certainly deserves a look IMO.

This guy really stays with his tackles and has pretty good hands in INT and fumble pick ups. Seems to have a good eye for the ball and doesn't get fooled easily. Could be a real sleeper. I laughed quite a bit in the first part, especially after he hit the QB and the QB looked like he just got shot. Unfortunately, with all of his PAC-10 offers, he'll probably end up at either Stanford or Washington.

Rivals shows Stanford, Wash, Wash St, etc for offers. Solid highlights. Leave no stone unturned.

Dude is a ball hawking missle. I like this kid a lot. Not many looks by the SEC schools toward the islands...I always thought, after Mapu and Jesse M (RIP), that UT would establish a pipeline to Hawaii and start going after the island elites. With Kiffin's west coast ties and his history with SC, surely he knows of the islands hidden talents, especially on the d side of the ball. Look at the rosters of the pac 10 and the Utah schools...full of Islanders. Hawaii is small but they put out talent.

Nice highlights, I love how he attacks the ball and sheds blockers, big hitter.
