Its guys like this that makes me feel very secure in our program under Dooley.

If he can close with a good class this year, I think we'll have solid talent for years to come.

We need a quality DC, of course, to use the talent well. He did have sense enough to keep Chaney, so I like where he's heading on that side of the ball.

Hearing that Clark has told Coach Joseph he'll probably commit to Tennessee while on his OV this weekend. Clark is a very under-recruited player who can make an immediate impact next season.

Hmm this could be a big weekend. Apparently Delvin Glass will commit this weekend too. Clark could be a nice addition. I am pleased with how DD has gotten as many commitments as he has lately. I hope we can keep some of this momentum going!

He said that if he likes his visit this weekend, he will probably commit this weekend.

Now lets just hope that he can make it to Knoxville this weekend, do an anti snow dance.

He has to get an offer first. If we offer this weekend he will commit, but we may slow play him as much as possible to see if we've got any shot at all with guys like Dixon, Robey, and Dorsey. All 3 are slim chances... but again... that's why you slow play a guy like Clark. He doesn't have any better option than UT right now. LA Tech and Kansas aren't in the same hemisphere as UT traditionally, facility wise, or in any other area.

Is he anywhere close to being as good as Dequan Menzie?

I havent seen any vids of him

Thats not going to happen. Dorsey's might not even have the grades to get in and we have room for both.

And didn't they say Dorsey has yet to take an ACT and that he didn't even have a plan to take it in the near future?

I thought Dorsey was quoted as saying he had completed his testing and in the clear.

also basing this recently, on the fact he took an OV to Michigan

Hey does anyone know anything about Clark's medical history? I thought heard something about an ACL tear or something like that....and was he originally committed to Kansas and failed to qualify academically?

I've read several post and first I've heard of academic problems. TOS says he was a "DEC. Grad". The knee on the otherhand is a fact, not sure of the severity, but bad enough to miss last season.

I see no academic issues reported in the latest TOS story..:hi:
