I'm not going to bash the kid. But many of these offers he claims to have he doesn't.

the other day when he came to Toccoa to get honored for being put in Ga sports Hall of Fame. before the game he had an interesting conversation with Poole(this just happened to be UT's open week and TP was home) you see Pat is from the same High School as Tauren and that would be Stephens County HS. i'm sure TP put in a good word for Kiffin:no: oh well

i didnt know swilling went there dale davis to theres been alot of talent come outta that small town

Yep, there's been several in the pro's. Leonard Wheeler, Kentrell Curry, Evan Oglesby, Billy Shaw...probably some more that should have been there but couldn't handle the college education part :)

Per Scout... He says he is "definitely" visiting UT sometime in January as well as Auburn. It's a LSU-UT-Auburn battle but LSU has not offered him yet....

Not that highly rated but has an impressive offer list which I trust more than Rivals' ratings. I'm assuming this kid would play LB or DB since we are loaded with WRs right now. Anyone want to clue me in on where he would fit in?

So what is it with this guy that makes the "experts" rate him so lowly? He has the measurables and have to think he is well schooled in football.

I have no idea. Looks like the "internet experts" are way out of touch with him though. The coaches around the country seem to like him alot. Just look at that offer list. That isn't a 2star offer list...

LSU has offered per rivals but I know their offer lists are screwy sometimes so whatcha think?

O ok so is it kind of an unwritten rule that a prospect has to have an offer to go on an OV?

Rivals really needs to pick it up in the updating department and with some offers they're just flat our wrong like this example

Has he indicated when he may be looking to make a decision by? Rivals has him listed as a CB.....could that be the reason he is ranked so low star wise, because they are bot looking at him as a LB?

I dunno, maybe. He plays CB in high school for some reason, but he's 6-3 225. He won't be playing CB in college...

He will probably be a signing day decision since he is visiting UT at some point in January and Auburn on Jan. 29...

I know most are probably more interested in higher profile recruits, but this may be a guy to keep an eye on. The previous staff were trying to get him to visit as detailed above but more importantly he was also being recruited by LA Tech. Great measurables...

Definitely. Kid seems like a very underrated prospect. It will be interesting to see if some of the LB's instate will get a look with this new staff in place.
