This guy's offer list is a veritable who's who among major BCS programs. Apparently there is mutual interest between Arie and the Vols. He also has a brother (Cyrus) whom we are targeting in next year's class. His brother is even bigger than he is.

Apparently DeMatha puts out a lot of D1 players so a pipeline there would be great.

Hubbs said he has moved Tennessee to the top of his current favorites.

I am familiar with the DeMatha programs and they would be a great pipeline to cultivate. Not just in football but in all sports. Their basketball program is even better. Most important is the fact they properly prepare quality young men for the next level. Very few "problem child"s come from DeMatha. Many will tell you Morgan Wooten, the man who built the football and basketball programs is the best high school coach of all time. Total and absolutely class high school.

After watching the video we might want to consider offering scholarships to the whole line....lol.

The kid looks good but it looks like the majority of the highlights were from the same game.

He definitely plays with a mean streak. Sticking with his block even if the ball is going to the other side is demoralizing for DL, because he doesn't take a play off.

DeMatha isn't too far from me. I might have to go check out some of their games.

At 314 with Baby Bro at 322,,,, I would hate that Grocery bill!

Yea really, growing up my dad always told me I needed to get a job to help pay for groceries and I weighed no where near what these kids weigh. LOL!

Mike Farrell...

• Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha offensive lineman Arie Kouandjio has more than 20 offers, and Florida seems close to adding to the total. If the Gators offer, they will certainly be in the mix, but the teams recruiting Kouandjio the hardest are Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, California and Connecticut. Kouandjio wants to narrow his list to 10 or so schools by the end of the summer.

There are rumblings, that Kouandjio is on his way to Knoxville this weekend for an unofficial tour.

Hubbs thinks we lead.

Anyone know when he plans on making a decision?

If we lead, and he visits this weekend, ya never know.
