Deserving. They waited too late. Between the press in the first half and lack luster shooting in the second, that's what you get.

A great comeback but, there's something to be said about knowing your role. State didn't have anyone that filled one.

But what can I say? aTm does not have closer either.

Tough year for Michigan State. The two guards that were kicked off the team would have really come in handy against UCLA. When you only have one proven scorer at the guard position (although, the freshman hitting the 3 at the end was huge). . crap, where was I, oh yeah, Lucas was alone on the island at the guard spot all year. The only other outside scoring was swinging Summers or Green outside, and they were not the pure shooting option that you need out there.

Pretty good comeback by the Spartans, helped by some pretty poor FT Shooting by ucla. Needed to have that last foul with a tick off the clock so we could have substituted and got another option or two for that shot. With Lucas, the Freshman, and 2 walkons, it was pretty obvious where the shot was coming from. ALSO, great job by Lee on Lucas in the first half, and most of the 2nd. The lockdown on Lucas was the difference in the game really.

Glad they made a game of it, that first half was horrible.

Adrien Payne. Most overrated center in the nation?

Someone would have to be rating him high for him to be overrated. As of now, he is just a kid that needs to work on his game. He showed flashes of really good play this year. Maybe after a good summer of workouts he will be ready to take over next year.

Nix should have been much more this year also.

Must be Joshua Smith. 6-10 305lb freshman... yikes. He has some good years ahead of him at the college level.

If that dude is 305, Im 160. And I havent seen 160 in 15 years!! That is one BIG fella.

The big white guy for MSU sucks

He froze twice last night on offense, and that is pretty rare. Usually he is a very good offensive weapon, and then lost on defense, but he looked lost a couple times on both ends. He will be a good role player next year.
